Sarah Kolasky

Producer/lead actor/co-writer of Great Great Great

Sarah is an actor and producer from Toronto, Canada. She plays Lauren in the feature film Great Great Great, which she produced and co-wrote with her long-time collaborator, Adam Garnet Jones. She also produced and acted in the short film, LIAR, which premiered at the prestigious 2012 South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, TX. Other producing credits include the short films A Small Thing (TIFF ’08) and Cloudbreaker (TIFF ’06). Sarah is also the Chair of the Breakthroughs Film Festival, the only festival in Canada dedicated to showcasing short films by emerging female directors. She received a BFA in Film Studies from Ryerson University, and is one half of the sketch comedy duo Ex-Adults.

Adam Garnet Jones

Co-writer and Director of  Great Great Great

Adam has written and directed a series of award-winning films that toured the international film circuit from Toronto to L.A., Sydney, Berlin and Beijing. Not content to work only in film, Adam has also distinguished himself as a television writer. He wrote scripts for the series “Cashing In” and “Mohawk Girls" He also had a hand in creating the upcoming series, The North End with Big Soul Productions.

Adam released his first dramatic feature-length film, Fire Song, at the Toronto nternational Film Festival in 2015. Fire Song went on to win the Air Canada Audience Choice Award at ImagineNATIVE, the worlds largest Indigenous Media Arts Festival. FireSong also won the Audience Choice Award for Best Narrative Feature at Reel Out, the People's Choice Award for Best Film at Rainbow Reels, and both the RBC Audience Choice Award and the Jury Prize for Best Canadian Film at the Queer North Film Festival. Fire Song can be seen on Netflix USA.

Actor - Great Great Great

Richard Clarkin has been an indelible presence in Canadian film for many years from Jeremy Podezwa’s The Five Senses to the cult favourite Goon as Gord Ogilvey (Michael Dowse) and its sequel Goon: Last of the Enforcers (Jay Baruchel). In between he has been a leading man in Solo, Molly Maxwell and the upcoming releases of The Drawer Boy and Ordinary Days. He has been a regular on Murdoch Mysteries and Naturally Sadie, and guest starred in dozens of television shows including Killjoys, Transporter, Republic of Doyle, Heartland, Lost Girl, Flashpoint and The Border. 

Meredith Cheesbrough

Actor - Great Great Great

Meredith Cheesbrough is a graduate of Humber College's Acting for Film Program, and of the Second City Conservatory. She writes and performs comedy as one half of the duo Tall Sigh.

Dan Beirne is an actor and writer living in Toronto. A regular in Season 2 of Fargo on FX, he is the co-creator and co-lead of CTV’s Space Riders: Division Earth, and of the popular web series Dad Drives. He can also be seen on CBC’s Workin’ Moms, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, The Beaverton, and American Gods.

 

 

Lindsay Leese

Actor - Great Great Great

You may recognize Lindsay from her work as a professional actor and improviser on screen and stage over the past thirty years. Lindsay is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada and an alumnus The Second City stage.

Based in Toronto since 1982, Lindsay began working with The Second City as a performer in 1983 and appeared in eight original shows. She has appeared in over one hundred commercials, TV and film roles including cult comedy films such as Tommy Boy, Ginger Snaps, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Three to Tango, Brain Candy and The Wrong Guy.
